January 5 – Frozen 2 and Star Wars Breaking Records

Were you in Disney World last year? Did you dine in a Landrys-owned restaurant (Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe)? If you were and you did, check your credit cards because Landry’s Inc just reported a credit card breach. And if you didn’t dine at any of those, I strongly recommend you try the Yak & Yeti – the crab cakes are excellent.

Frozen 2 is now the highest grossing animated movie ever, earning $1.325 billion to date. With that kind of money, I expect a Frozen 3 script is already in the works. Meanwhile, the most recent Star Wars movie broke the billion dollar earning mark this weekend, the third weekend of its release.

In Disney+ news, the next season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is slated to arrive on February 17. This is an amazing well-written, animated story of Obi-Wan and Anakin’s actions in the Clone Wars. If you’re a Star Wars fan, this is a must-see. Here’s a great article about the hidden gems of Disney+ – it recommends the movie The Legend of The Three Caballeros, which I agree is a fantastic hidden gem. Did you watch The Imagineering Story on Disney+ yet? If you didn’t, this informative article from AllEars shows you the highlights.

Do you participate in runDisney? If so, AllEars just posted pictures of the merchandise available this year. They look great!
