First, an explanation: FastPass has two tiers: Tier 1 and Tier 2 rides. You get to select 3 FastPass before coming to the park: 1 Tier 1 ride, and 2 Tier 2 rides. When Galaxy’s Edge opens, many Tier 2 rides will move up into the Tier 1 category, including my favorites such as Slinky Dog Dash (roller coaster in Toy Story Land), Alien Swirling Saucers (your ride vehicle spins while music and lights change), Toy Story Mania (shooting game), and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (drop from high heights).
So many good rides are moving into Tier 1 status; I assume Disney is doing this for crowd management when Galaxy’s Edge opens up. I really love Toy Story Mania, so I’ll probably keep that as my Tier 1 ride!
