I was poking through YouTube when I stumbled upon this great video by Disney Parks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwF8lMcnfLo . It’s a time-lapse video of Disney building a large set of solar panels. The facility covers 270 acres of solar panels to generate 50 megawatts of electricity.
According to the linked article, the solar facility can power two of Disney’s theme parks! Disney is a very environmentally-conscious company – they also recently introduced reusable bags to their parks.
