How To Maximize The Disney Dining Plan: Quick Service Meals

Continuing our food-themed recent posts, the Disney Food Blog just put out a fascinating article on the best Quick Service food cafes in Disney World.

I really like their choices, especially the (my personal favorite) Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom. There’s a huge variety of foods available to assemble your own bowl. If you’ve never been to Satu’li, here’s the deal: you pick a base (salad, rice, etc), a protein (tofu, chicken, etc) and a sauce (ranging from spicy to yogurt-like) and the resulting bowl comes out like a Chipotle-style burrito bowl. This restaurant is so good, I wish Disney would franchise it out and open more around the US!

Another favorite of mine, not mentioned, is the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in Epcot’s Norway pavilion. Not only does it have a solid menu of sandwiches and salads, but it also has a huge array of desserts. I particularly loved the Frozen-themed desserts available there, especially a chocolate cupcake fittingly named “Anna’s Birthday Cake”!
