An hour or two after the park opens, and through dusk, motorized flat wooden rafts will take you to a surprisingly ample island of discovery. With caves, a fort, and even a counter-service restaurant, even on crowded days the island will prove to be a relaxing departure. Just past Aunt Polly's Landing you will find the signature barrel bridge where the floating barrels wobble as you cross the secure bridge.
The best place to enjoy Walt Disney World is by staying at one of the park's many onsite resort hotels which offer early entry into the parks and are available as value, moderate and deluxe lodging alternatives.
