After you explore the live marine life circling about The Living Seas giant aquarium, head on down to the ground floor where you will be blown away by one of Disney's neatest attractions. If you caught Finding Nemo you no doubt remeber Crush -- that gnarly ancient turtle that held Nemo's dad navigate the currents on his way to rescue his son in Sydney. Well, Crush comes alive every 15-20 minutes in a computer animated show that is performed live. Yes, live. An actual voice actor with Crush's signature surfer dude accent down pat will speak on behalf of an animated Crush with various sequences.
No, you don't have to be familiar with Nemo to truly enjoy this gem. Even adults get into it as Crush answers questions from the children who are allowed to sit in front of the half-dozen rows of bleachers. The crowd may be hesitant at first. After all, it doesn't seem live -- that is until Crush calls out kids in the audience raising their hands with questions. For instance, in our show a kid was wearing an Eddie George football jersey and Crush singled him out as "the dude in the middle with numbers on his shell" and then the answers are unique to every show. You won't want to miss this. While the show area is small -- and you may feel as if something's wrong while you wait in the queue (because it doesn't move save for once every 15-20 minutes to let a new audience in) -- this is the most cutting edge live animation attraction you will ever see. Make time for it.
