While connected to Journey Into Imagination, this ride was the major draw at the park before Disney began opening more daring thrill rides like Test Track and Mission: Space. This is a 3D-attraction with an edge. Not only are the 3D-effects excellent, including at least one scary encounter with a snake, but the theater also emits other special effects. You will get a little wet when a dog sneezes in your direction. You will feel wind in your face as a flying Professor goes by. As the sensory winner of the presentation, be very, very afraid when the mice are let loose in the building. While this ride opened after Disney-MGM's Muppetvision 3D and before Animal Kingdom's It's Tough to be a Bug, it is a genre favorite, with the long winding lines during peak hours to show for it.
Yes, it can get loud. Yes, children (or anyone afraid of reptiles and rodents) may be scared. But it's too good to miss if you can swing it. Those who don't want to see it can wait next door in the Imagination interactive pavillion.
