While the older kids head out to Dinosaur or Primeval Whirl the entire family will have plenty to do at this dig play area. You have slides and shooting water and crawl areas aplenty. This is also where you can cross the dinosaur at the entrance, a bridge which can get awfully crowded as it is the ideal viewing spot for the afternoon parade (which is not all that spectacular from any angle really).

Follow the dinosaur bridge and you'll get to a sandy, shady, dig site. Kids love to just dive right in and get dirty -- just make sure you clear any of the debris from the socks and shoes before putting them back on. Dinosaurs may be extinct but the pain from walking around a park all day with gravel in under your feet? That's forever.
