Based on Pixar's A Bug's Life, the two stars of the movie, Flik the ant and Hopper the villainous grasshopper, host this attraction. The rest of the cast is unique to this sensory 3D attraction. This is a great show, worthy of residing beneath the beautiful Tree of Life. You strap on your honorary bug goggles (i.e. - 3D glasses) and enter the theater for the show.

If you find bugs extremely creepy, or if you have children who may spook easily, this experience may not be for you. You might want to sit near the exit just in case, as some are already doing, you find the performance to be too intense and wish to leave mid-showing. You sit on what appears to wooden benches but they are clearly more than that. Many of the effects, from hornet stings to racing maggots to acid-spewing termites, are launched from your seats and provide a more effective experience than you would find, at say Muppetvision 3D. The show itself runs less than 10 minutes and the 3D effects and animation are done one better only by the perfectly synced physical enhancements. It is a great escape from the outdoor heat, but also a nice change of pace from the reality that surrounds the park.
